We started out with an introduction to SONiC, its history and benefits, and also the different editions of SONiC. We then had a look at the foundational building blocks of SONiC and the already existing components it leverages, like Linux, FRR, SAI, and so on. Finally, we learned about the SONiC architecture. We got an overview of the available containers and looked at the tasks of each container.
